Price and Editions

Enshrouded costs $39.99 (39,99 EUR, 34.99 GBP on Steam), with 10% off on Steam and PS5 for the first 14 days after the Oct 15, 2026 launch, until Oct 29, 2026; the Steam Deluxe Upgrade Pack is $9.99 (three Class Outfit Packs, a digital artbook and a printable Embervale map), and the PS5 Deluxe Edition costs $49.99 and adds the Original Soundtrack. It is a one-time purchase, with no subscription and no free-to-play version. Early access owners on PC do not pay again. The launch itself is on 1.0 Release.

How much is Enshrouded?

Enshrouded costs $39.99 in the United States, 39,99 EUR in the euro zone and 34.99 GBP on Steam in the UK, where the PlayStation Store asks 32.99 GBP. Keen's launch press release set the price "for €39.99 / $39.99 USD, with a 10% launch discount on both platforms during the first 14 days, starting October 15th at 4 p.m. CEST" (Keen), which made it $35.99 on Steam. The PlayStation Store shows the discount ending on Oct 29, 2026 at 4 p.m. UTC; the US store labels it a PS Plus discount. There is no physical or collector's edition (PS5 Version).

The price rise before 1.0

The price went up by 10 EUR before 1.0. Keen announced on Aug 31, 2026 that "The price of Enshrouded is increasing by €10, to €39.99 (or the equivalent in your denomination of choice) on September 8", so the early access price was 29,99 EUR. Keen's reason: "We've always planned to increase the price once early access ends (it's in our Early Access FAQ!), and more importantly, this will allow us to keep developing the game further, for as long as possible." Until then the game sold for 22,49 EUR in Steam's PVE Survival Crafting Fest, "the cheapest it's ever been". Keen's post gave the new price in euros only, and this page does not state an early access dollar price.

Editions

The Steam version comes in one edition, and the extras are a separate DLC. The Deluxe Upgrade Pack ($9.99, released Oct 15, 2026) holds three Exclusive Class Outfit Packs, a Digital Artbook and an Embervale High-Res Printable Map; Steam sells no bundle of the game with the pack. The artbook and map were updated by hotfix 1.0.0.1 on launch day.

On PS5 the game comes as a Standard Edition ($39.99) and a Deluxe Edition ($49.99). The Deluxe Edition holds the same three Class Outfit Packs, artbook and map, plus the Original Soundtrack, which the Steam pack does not include.

Early access owners

Early access owners keep the game: "You do not need to buy Enshrouded PC again if you own the Early Access version" (Launch FAQ, Oct 13, 2026). Keen also gave them three decorative props, claimed through "Redeem Add-Ons" in the escape menu: a statue over 4 meters tall, a tome with the "E" that was the early access logo, and a signal light. Later buyers cannot place them, but an early access player can place them in a friend's world, and the owner of the world can remove them.

The Original Soundtrack

The Enshrouded Original Soundtrack is sold on Steam for $7.99, and has been since Feb 2, 2024. Its 66 tracks are by Alex Röder, Armin Haas and Matthias Wolf, with titles such as "The Mysterious Wanderer Descends" and "The Wispwyvern's Throne". On PS5 it comes with the Deluxe Edition. No composer credit has been published for music added after early access began (Keen Games).

Twitch drops

0:27 Twitch drops are never exclusive. In the Road to Release video of Jan 21, 2026, celebrating 5 million players, Keen announced a new drop set, an armor set and the game's first cushion, and added that "as usual, this set will be accessible in game through a quest ... you just have to talk to the huntress". The Launch FAQ repeats it: "all our Twitch drops can be found in-game". The Huntress is one of the Survivors.

Is there DLC?

The only DLC so far is the Deluxe Upgrade Pack and the soundtrack. All of 1.0 itself, including Cinder's Cradle and Sparkworks, was a free update for owners (What's New in 1.0), as were the eight early access updates (Early Access Updates).

4:50 Paid content is planned. Creative Director Antony Christoulakis says in the Road to Release video that development will continue "for years to come", with free additions "as well as paid expansions in the future", and "there is a world beyond Embervale". The launch press release promises "both free & paid content for years to come", and Christoulakis told Wccftech: "We plan to add free and paid content to the game to sustain our development efforts." What the first paid content will be, its price and its date had not been announced as of Oct 21, 2026. The PS Store's rating line lists "In-Game Purchases".

Other things to buy

The dedicated server tool is free with the game, and Keen's partner G-Portal rents servers from inside the game (Keen; Dedicated Servers). Keen also runs an official merchandise shop at enshroudedstore.com, and on Oct 2, 2026 announced a Youtooz plush with preorders until Nov 5, 2026.
